2. SUBMITTING YOUR NOTICE OF INTENT (N.O.I.) THIS IS THE TPDES PERMIT APPLICATION
3. INSTALLING YOUR BMP'S THESE ARE THE EROSION CONTROLS
4. DOING THE REQUIRED BIWEEKLY SITE INSPECTIONS.
5. DOING THE AFTER RAIN EVENT SITE INSPECTIONS.
6. REPAIRING DAMAGED CONTROLS FOUND DURING INSPECTIONS. THIS MAINTAINS YOUR COMPLIANCE
7. WE KEEP THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION UPDATED. THIS IS THE INSPECTION AND CONTROL MAINTENANCE LOG
8. ONCE ENTIRE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, WE SUBMIT YOUR NOTICE OF TERMINATION (N.O.T.) THIS REMOVES YOU FROM ANY FURTHER RESPONSIBILITY FOR VIOLATIONS FROM THOSE PROPERTIES.

**AS PART( any size lot ) OF A COMMON PLAN OF DEVELOPMENT OVER 1 ACRE BUT LESS THAN 5, YOU NEED A STORM WATER PLAN, TO POST THE N.O.I. ALONG WITH A CONSTRUCTION SITE NOTICE ON THE JOBSITE AND DO SITE INSPECTIONS WITH DOCUMENTATION UPDATED.
**IF YOU ARE PART(any size lot) OF A LARGER COMMON PLAN OF DELVELOPMENT OVER 5 ACRES, YOU NEED A STORMWATER PLAN AND TO FILE YOUR N.O.I WITH THE STATE OFFICE IN AUSTIN, POST A CONSTRUCTION SITE NOTICE AND DO SITE INSPECTIONS AND KEEP DOCUMENTATION UPDATED.
** FEES ARE NOW INVOLVED** EACH N.O.I. HAS A $350.00 MAIL IN FEE AND A $250.00 ONLINE FEE THROUGH THE STEERS WEBSITE FOR APPLICATION AND NOW STARTING MARCH 03, 2008, THE NEW PAYMENT PROGRAM COVERS YOU UNTIL MARCH 02, 2013!!
WHY NOW ?? FINES START AT $10,000.00 PER VIOLATION,PER LOT, PER DAY UNDER EPA INSPECTION AND $$3,000.00 - 5,000.00 UNDER A TCEQ VIOLATION INSPECTION
THEY CAN ACCESS BUILDING PERMITS ANY CITY HAS ISSUED, LIST ALL OPEN TPDES N.O.I'S FOR ANY ZIP CODE! AND CHECK IT AGAINST TRCC BUILDER REGISTRATIONS THAT STARTED JAN. 2004 EACH HOUSE IS REGISTERED.
THEN THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHERE AND WHO TO TARGET FOR COMPLIANCE VIOLATIONS. (you are waving a flag everytime you build inside of a qualifying development without an N.O.I.)
